In 1994, Music From Japan established the Resource Center for Japanese Music, featuring the custom-designed composer database and Music From Japan’s 45-year-old collection of source materials. While featuring mainly Japanese composers, the composer database also includes several non-Japanese composers related to Music From Japan.

You can search the database by using keywords separated by spaces and by specifying how the keywords are combined. You can also view a complete index of composers and their works.
